PureCommand, the highly regarded public safety software publisher is pushing forward in 2022 with upgraded and new products. As COVID-19 hopefully transitions from pandemic to endemic, the impact on the fire service will hopefully become more focused on fire and traditional EMS.
Fire Journal version 5 is due to be released in May, 2022. Version 5 has been completely rewritten from the group up, utilizing the latest development tools from Apple and others. The result is a much faster app, greater input capabilities (such as the latest Apple pencil compatibility), and other improvements.
The in-app membership subscription has also been completely rewritten, and boasts a new user experience, more aligned reporting, maps, calendar, and search capabilities.
PureCommand is also putting the finishing touches on an all-new app for managing a fire station. Called Station Command, this is a unique iPad app that allows multiple users to access the app, even when using a single iPad. Station Command will eliminate the need for old fashioned paper journals, and has been designed with input from both career and volunteer fire officers.
Station Command will be released in the fall of 2022.
